The Yippies are a three piece regional rock band from Springfield/Hettick, IL. The Yippies have opened up for such national acts as The Ataris, Flaw, and Texas Hippie Coalition. The Yippies have done radio interviews on 92.7 WQLZ and 96.7 ALICE and have songs in rotation on WQLZ's Bandemonium. They have a big sound and aren't afraid to show it. High energy and aggressive equipment abuse are just some of the things to expect at a show next to great music. Two albums already released and being sold on Itunes, Reverbnation, Napster, Zune, Spotify, and many more. One DVD completed and merchandise being sold through Reverbnation. The Yippies have traveled far and wide throught the U.S. to promote the band. Traveling through MO, TX, LA, and IN are just a few states to name. The Yippies are a very dedicated, talented, hard working group of individuals that want nothing more than to have a good time with friends and play great music.
