They Live

They Live - We are a four piece rock and roll group from Los Angeles, California. Since initial conception in September 2011 we have worked to pull from our various diverse musical interests. Our overall sound encompasses influences that range from 60s and 70s Rock, Funk, 50s R&B, Soul, No Wave, Electronica, and old school Punk Rock. Each member of our band plays multiple instruments, and we rotate often throughout our live shows, which adds an extra dynamic quality to the set. We strive to have as much fun as possible whether writing, recording, or performing, as we all feel that is the ultimate musical payoff. Partially named after a John Carpenter movie, our practice space in Echo Park is within earshot of one of that films primary filming locations.
