Unsigned San Diego rock/alternative artists THICKLIQUID plan the release of
their third album in December, 2001. The disc showcases their continued growth
with an astounding collection of emotionally inspired tracks. As with all
their music, it is written and produced at their studio in North San Diego. “Plasticize” is the follow up to the nationally recognized release of their sophomore effort “Stress” that was released independently the first week of August 2000. The 16-track disc spawned two singles.

"Get Out", the first single from Stress received airplay on over 125 college stations and 30 commercial alternative and rock stations in the fall / winter of 2000. Commercial stations on board included: KWOD, 91X, KIOZ, CFNY, WMRQ,WBCN, WYQZ, WJKL, WPGU, WXDX, KNRQ, KEYJ, KLFXX, WQXA, WFRD, WVOD and more. Notable non-commercial stations included: KTUH (Honolulu), WXAV (Chicago),WECB (Boston), WSFR (Cable Radio Boston), WTBU (Cable Radio Boston), CJAM (Detroit), WBMB (Cable Radio New York), WSVA (Cable Radio New York),WITR(Rochester, NY), WERW (Syracuse, NY), KUMN (Albuquerque), WDUP (Cable Radio Portland), WKDU (Philadelphia), WRCT (Pittsburgh), WGMU (Fairfax), KWRS (Spokane), WMSE (Milwaukee), and CPR (Cable Radio Peoria, IL). Many Canadian college stations came on board as well including CKUL, CJSF, CHUO, and CFUV.

"Hard Hitting", the second single from the Stress lead to THICKLIQUID
spending a month on the national Aggro Top 100 Rock Chart in June / July
2001, peaking at number 71. Commercial stations reporting spins included:
KUPD, WKTA, WJSE, WVBR, WMMS, KEYJ, KLFX, KYYT, KMKF, WJKL, WQRT, WTFX, KZZE,WLZX, KMTM, KNDI, WAVE, KZZK, KMKE, KRZZ, WIKB, WLKG, KASS, WRXF, WLKG, and many more.

The title track from THICKLIQUID's first EP, 1999's For Real, saw success
with over 20 commercial Active Rock and Alternative stations supporting the
single, including hometown ROCK 105.3 KIOZ which spun the track in regular
rotation for over three months. Additional stations supporting the single included: 91X WLIR, KNRK, KQRX, KCXX, KFLZ, WXTM, WMRQ, WQBX, WVRK, WKLQ, WQXA, WXBE, KZYR, WTPA, KACV, WJBX, KMRX, WKTE, WWCD, KRBR, WJXQ and more.

THICKLIQUID has also received international airplay from the U.K. to Unda sul
FM, Rio, Brazil.

Following the achievements of Stress and For Real, The San Diego Music Awards nominated THICKLIQUID for the Best Rock Album two years in a row, and
have been nominated for the 2001 American Music Awards for Best New Music, and three soundtracks from Trimark Pictures.
