Biography

With an ever growing fan base, Thinner Teed continues to tear up the stage with grooves and melodies fueled with the excitement of improvisation. They play a high energy style of jam that is a collage of many musical genres, finding influence from funk, rock, electro, bluegrass, & jazz to create genre bending original music.

Based in Chicago, the band has been on the road across the Midwest including Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Illinois playing numerous shows and festivals. The band has an energy with it everywhere it goes. From the most intimate venue to the festival stage, these guys know how to bring it.

Thinner Teed understands the necessity for promotion. Working with several promotion crews to reach as many fans and potential fans as possible, through social networking sites, street teams, and a range of promotional merchandise.

Thinner Teed has shared the bill with acts like Willie Nelson, Les Claypool, moe, Umphrey's McGee, Keller Williams, Gov't Mule, Darkstar Orchestra, Emmett-Nershi Band, Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood, Yonder Mountain String Band, EOTO, Toubab Krewe, Great American Taxi, Avett Brothers, Railroad Earth, Lotus, Particle, Victor Wooten, Dwezil Zappa Plays Zappa, & Cornmeal. They have also played numerous festivals and venues in the past including Summer Camp, Tall Tree Lake, Michigan Peace Fest, Blottopia, Palatine Street Fest, The Kinetic Playground, The Abbey, Goose Island Brewery, Illinois Brweing Co, Reggies Music Joint, The University of Wisonsin Stevens Point, The Annex, and Dirty Nellies.
