“Third Eye Open” is a three member hip/hop, R&B group consisting of two blood brothers and their lifelong friend. Developing in SWATZ (southwest Atlanta) this talent has evolved from infancy and matured through several years of grinding and now emerge from "the underground".

The varying life experiences of the group members are a reflected in the range of lyrics and musical styles of the characters. The cast of characters making "Third Eye Open" are:

“'64 Shawty” is the rapper that dances and gets the crowd "crunk". '64 is party oriented and his lyrics reflect it. You will "spot" him at the show...getting crunk and "cranking you up".

“King” brings the "gangsta" lyrics and the "controlled crunk" to the party. "Gangsta lyrics with a smoov' flow and smoov' delivery". King has the rhyming ability to adjust to and bring "mad flow" to any track.

“Tony Lyrics” brings the conscious vibe to the party. To him, the most important element is the lyrics. He says, "I want to have a good time while leaving you with something positive. My goals is to say something meaningful on every song. I was raised by strong women, I seek to uplift women in my music….and when I speak to the thugs, I try to open their ‘third eye’and lift them up too".

The "third eye" is the conscious eye…. The group “Third Eye Open” is a concoction of both conscious and street.
