This A.M. Static is an stylistically eclectic indie rock band from Rochester, NY. Their unique musical style blends rock, pop, and punk music with elements of orchestral music and electronica to create a versatile sound. This A.M. Static is influenced by a wide array of artists ranging from Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails to Justin Timberlake and David Bowie.
The band was formed in 2007 by James Moore and Jordan Bork, who met in lackluster, a Doors tribute band. They felt the need to combine their wasted musical talent and lust up their lack, so this AM Static was formed. They recruited Jon Waxmonsky, drummer from a previous band with James, and later added Sir Adam Brooks and Dave Q. Smith, Esq. (guitar and bass respectively), previously from the band Karma Tracing Skies.
This A.M. Static is currently writing and recording songs for their debut album, due out later this year.
