Bio

This Century is a pop-rock group, consisting of four members, that formed in 2005. Members include: Joel Kanitz (vocals), Sean Silverman (guitar), Alex Silverman (bass), and Ryan Gose (drums). The band is currently signed to Action Theory records, a branch of Warner Bros. Records, where their good friends in the band The Maine, are also signed.

The band released their first EP, titled "2007", in 2007 and have been consistently releasing music ever since. In 2008, they were signed to Eighty One Twenty Three Management, and also released two more EP's, "Look What We Made" and "Dream of Christmas." In 2009, the band embarked on a journey to follow Vans Warped Tour, and performed at a few different tents during the tour. They also released three more EP's in 2009, titled "Kiss Me Like It's Christmas", "No Way Out", and "To Love and Back."

In 2010, This Century really started expanding their audience when they joined fellow Arizona natives, The Maine, on their headlining tour across the U.S. They had also just recently signed to Action Theory Records, and released another EP, titled "Hopeless Romantic." The band then embarked on another tour in Fall 2010 with Hey Monday, Cartel, The Ready Set, and We Are the In Crowd.

In 2011, This Century started to gear up for the release of their first full-length album. They joined the Cardiology Tour with Good Charlotte, Forever the Sickest Kids, and The Black Cloud Collective. Their first single, "Sound of Fire", off their full-length was released in March 2011. Their first album, "Sound of Fire", dropped on April 19th, 2011.

This Century is currently preparing for a spring tour with Sparks the Rescue and Go Radio, continuing throughout the month of May.
