Bio

It is not the relatively simple birth of This EtAl that fascinates; it’s the random chain of events that caused these four individuals, Wu (guitar/vocals, 19), Steve (drums, 20), Ben (guitar, 22) and Gavin (bass, 19), to trip over each other and land where they did, in a spot where, if missed by an inch, none of this music would have come into existence.

That spot being their local upper school in Bradford, West Yorkshire. As human beings they are not easily understood, but they have a certain magnetism that makes people desperately want to be able to. The answer: their music. Never will you meet a group of people with such passion, devotion and creative talent as these four. Qualities rarely found under the shadow of Bradford.

Their sound is unique. Audiences are left speechless with the hair stood up on the back of their necks. Hugely atmospheric and captivating songs traverse the emotions, comparable to the likes of Mogwai, Radiohead and Interpol but with the raw power and energy whom such as QOTSA and At The Drive-In pride themselves on.

The band is currently spending every available opportunity getting themselves gigs and gaining the interest of record labels. A difficult task at present because they are without management and are stuck in full-time work trying to keep themselves alive. However, record labels have already taken up the scent having heard their latest single, and more are likely to follow with the release of subsequent material on various independent labels. Song writing is as consistent as ever. They are constantly bettering themselves and show no signs of slowing down.

Keep your eyes peeled...
