IMAG

IMAG (born Lemond Brown on August 1, 1988 in Washington, D.C.) is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Since the tender age of 5 IMAG has been crafting lyrics and writing poetry. His training in classical piano at the young age of 7 has made him into a very promising producer as well; producing tracks for not only himself, but other acts for the last 7 years. His youthfulness, classical training, musicianship, and great ear for good music provide a good balance to the maturity in his music.

Creating IMAGinative concepts for each of his songs is one of the things that sets him apart, and is something that is lost in much of today’s music, especially in hip-hop and pop music. Industry leaders and fans have described his sound as fresh, original, powerful, eclectic and captivating. Using real life experiences and the influence of his environment to put together music anybody can relate to; his creative, witty, relaxed flow has drawn many people of all ages to his music.

The most noticeable thing that people realize when they hear his music is that he doesn’t use profanity. There are very few artists on the planet that could make an album out of 16 very distinctly different songs, all of which being profanity free. This is what helps IMAG appeal to a wider audience than strictly the Hip Hop community. His style has made fans from 1 to 91 years of age gravitate toward his music.
