1:10: The vibe is a lot different from the last time I was there, as I make my way to another packed room (although, this time with some place to breathe). I catch Toronto local duo This Is Picture mid-way through their set. Immediate reaction – emo-rock in the vein of Dashboard Confessional. Not exactly my cup of tea, but let’s see what they have to offer.
1:20: Despite some decent skill on the guitar, the lead singer’s voice is a bit dated. He seems a bit stuck in mimicking stuff he heard on mainstream rock radio only a few years ago and it hasn’t been a long enough time where we are clamoring for a revival of that sound just yet.
1:25: As they wrap-up, I feel a bit disappointed that these guys got a bigger crowd than the three acts I saw at Bread & Circus on Day 2 of my festival experience - A n E vibe
