"Live review"

Kings of Leon turn up to aftershow.

Ex Babyshambles drummer Gemma Clarke performed with her new band, The Krak, at Madame Tussauds, London yesterday. The Glastonbury headliners popped into check out the group after the bar sent round an e mail to their members saying The Krak would be playing these two shows as well as the same festival as the American foursome.

The isn't the first time The Krak have done a guerilla gig though. Last year they made history by being the first band ever to play the Orient Express. - NME

"Single review"

Imagine Bon Jovi fronting The Maccabees, OK, that might make some of you vomit, but personally I'm loving their potent summary tunes & some true stadium-like presence from a band so young - aces! - Subba Cultcha

This East London trio - former Babyshambles and Suffrajets drummer Gemma, and the two Toms on vocals, guitar and bass duties – played a handful of fan-only shows before being invited by Adam Ant to support him at The Scala, and a support slot for

The band will be making their debut release 'This Is Spitfire EP' through Not On Your Radio on September 13th. A second single is planned for early 2011 in the lead up to the release of the debut album in June 2011.
