Bio

Violinist Ingrid Berg Mehus and her musical companion Bjorn Hopland has been living with, for and off music the last years. They have been having a lot of fun and shared special moments playing all kinds of music all kinds of places. Here are a short catch up:

Ingrid has background from norwegian folkmusic and has been studying classical music. She's been warming up for David Guetta in Oslo Spektrum, for Infected Mushroom in Bergen and has played electric violin at clubs like XS, Tryst and Lavo in Las Vegas and Red Bull Arena in New York. Her energy on stage is contagious to the people sharing the music, and is therefore very popular violinist with around 100 gigs a year.

As growing up in a religious home, Bjørnar Hopland started playing guitar/bass for the local gospel-choir before his inspiration from bands like Radiohead and Flaming Lips woke up his interest for effect-pedals and electronic soundscapes. At the age of 20 he started to learn producing music, and the first results of his musical style is with Voyeur. He does programing, DJ'ing and play guitar together with Ingrid and others as a living, and together they have performed at Extrema Outdoor in Oslo, played in Washington, Grüne Woche in Berlin, IMAX-theatre in London among many other cool and strange places.

Voyeur (one who looks)

A project with making and releasing their own music has been in Ingrid and Bjorn's minds the last years, but not really been happening. When Tony Modebe came with his lyrics and thoughts spring 2013, giving meaning and inspiration to their musical creations, it finally loosened up.
The result is the band Voyeur with Bjornar and Ingrid on stage and Anthony as an off-stage, but just as important member.
They start releasing their first songs in November 2013.

Ingrid sings and play violin, Bjørnar do programming, synth, vocal and guitar, Tony creates lyrics.
