Bio

Hailing from Glasgow, Alt-rockers This July have been making noise around the country since 2004. Upon their debut EP release through a small Dundee-run indie label in 2007, TJ's sound struck up comparisons to groups such as Scots rockers Biffy Clyro and collectives from further afield such as Brand New. As a product of their debut EP and early touring the demand for This July to play shows around the UK began to grow, with pockets of fans emerging in towns such as Inverness, Dundee and Newcastle. The EP's title track "Not Long Now" also received airplay on XFM Scotland, creating quite a buzz.

TJ's reputation for an exciting and professional live show has already earned them shows with the likes of Parka, Fighting With Wire, Future Of The Left, Twin Atlantic, Enjoy Destroy, Fail Safe, Six Star Hotel, Luva Anna, and Alamos .. to name but a few. The band have also made several appearances at some of the UK's top venues such as Glasgow QMU, The Doghouse, Barfly and even filled out a headlining show at King Tuts as a finale to a spectacular 2007.

Through all of this the band’s live show has been the key to their popularity, winning over crowds across Scotland on a regular basis. With a recently updated line-up, This July are sounding better than ever and are not to be missed!
