Bio

This Life Scandal want to create beautiful music with influences ranging from Ryan Adams and Elbow, through to Incubus and Metallica plus a whole host of others.
Chris, a phenomenal singer/songwriter, searched for a band to give his songs the epic sound they deserve. Perfectionist through and through, Chris breathes out melodies. Sam got involved with his guitar - sculpting soundscapes under the influence of 1 or 2 effects. David came next with his thunderous bass and cockney fury. And finally Neil, the drumming Scotsman who brings huge energy and drive. Together the band create an enticing and formidable wall of sound.

This Life Scandal have grown dramatically and continue to venture forward, and to play for all ears to hear...
Over recent months the band have been enjoying growing interest in their sound – big, melodic, universally-appealing rock songs and a crackling live show – with plenty of enquiries from record labels, agents and promoters, all issuing compliments to the band; picking up on Chris’ incredible vocal talent and the band’s knack for harmony over complex and intriguing tracks.
The band have even had interest from across the pond, attracting major industry players who are very keen to get them over to America for tours and PR.
This Life Scandal have two tracks; The Great Bank Robbery and Cambridge Drive, featured on British comedy film, ‘Holy Water’, released world-wide in early 2010, The Great Bank Robbery being chosen to play over the end credits and the song has been digitally released to co-incide with the film's cinematic launch.
Comparisons to bands such as Elbow and Coldplay are not unfounded and the band have captured a sound that can appeal to a wide-ranging audience and has the potential to be hugely successful. It’s popular music with a cool, rock edge that has pleased critics and audiences alike.
The way things are going, come 2011, This Life Scandal will be the band on everyone's 'ones to watch' list.
