Amps to eleven, a dark stage lit only by a barrage of blinking lights from a floor full of petals, a drum set with dimensions that would make John Bohnum weep. The first song starts with a build up of noise. the dissonance is killing every eardrum in the room, and just when you think you can stand another second of unorganized noise, the band breaks the noise and hugs you with a wall of melodic sound, almost as if the song was apologizing for his drunk friend from before. for the next 30 to 45 minutes the audience is swallowed by layers of guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. Each song transitions smoothly into the next. The concert feels like a piece of music with a series of movements separated by silence and tuning. There is a slight, yet refreshing difference between their recorded work and live show. The record is best listened to with headphones on a night where you can give the album a listen in it's entirety. the latest album, ... As The House is full of layers, and subtleties as well as extreme contrast and structured noise that even the untrained ear can appreciate. After a year of playing shows around the east coast, and writing in their down time, they are redying themselves to enter the studio to record their third album, which will be available in the Fall of 2011
