This Sky On Fire

This Sky On Fire is a 5 piece rock band from Montgomery, AL made up of Matt Maddox (Vocals), Chad Watford (Vocals and Guitar), Russ Daly (Guitar), Austin Thompson (Drums), and Nate Bowman (Bass). We formed in late 2006 from a previous band named Property Of. Since the formation of the band they have been constantly writing and playing shows in the southeast. The band recently started the recording process of their first full length CD with producer Andy Jackson in the Jackalope Studio and have finished the first 7 songs. They are taking things slow and trying not to rush into anything. TSOF plans on touring as much as they possibly can as soon as summer hits and school is out for good for the remaining two members in school. All the band needs is the steady force of a label behind them and they will surely sweep the music scene like a storm. Since the start of the record they have played with many great artists including Mayday Parade, This Sky On Fire has never been the band to care about what the latest trends were in the music scene and what everybody was wearing. They have one mission, to play the music that they love and that you will love to hear.
