Bio

In late 2004 and early 2005, Marc was playing solo acoustic music that was along the same lines as Dashboard Confessional. He had attracted the attention of Shuteye Records, and with this attention being payed to his music, he decided to make a change, and begin something new.

This is when he talked to Paul and they began jamming out some music. Next came the addition of Isaac on drums, and then the pursuit of a vocalist and a bass player. In the difficulty in finding a vocalist, Marc decided to step up and became lead vocalist, and just about the same time Paul came in contact with Matt and invited him out to jam with the rest of the band. The fit was perfect, and the lineup became complete.

The first song that came was "Ex's and O's," which was well-received by those that first heard it. Very quickly, their practices grew from just the boys, to having as many as thirty people at practices every time.

This Years Hero next headed into the studio with Producer Dean Rudolph to record a five song EP, that is set to be released in late June 2005.

They are currently booking shows all around the midwest, and are working on expanding out to the west and east coasts.

With the release of their EP, these boys are set out to make a big impact on the music world that no one will be able to ignore.
