Ever since the young age of four, Thomas Lavigne's passion has been playing music. He began hearing the smooth sounds coming from father's guitar and since then, was inspired. He began training at the age of six years old with Spanish guitarist and teacher Mario Sintas.
After years of intense musical and technical training, Thomas was ready to take his talent to the next level.
He was accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London, England. With only two spots for guitar majors in the school, Thomas' talent was undeniable to the Vice President of the University and was quickly accepted amongst thousands, being the very first French guitar student accepted in the school.
While working on his double major, Thomas met Joao Loureiro and shortly after they formed UnoGuitarDuo. The guitar duet was a success with a hit album and sold out tours throughout Europe. With more than 300,000 hits on his Myspace page, Thomas Lavigne was discovered by independent music label DLP Records in Northern California. Since his signing with the label, Thomas has moved to sunny California to pursue his career and share his talents with the United States market.
Thomas' first solo album, Nylon Soundtrack, is an amazing fusion of musical genres. A melting pot composed of sultry Flamenco, soothing classical, and sophisticated soul. He is also music producer for a multiple amount of artist's throughout Europe and the States, producing a wide variety of different genres, ranging from R&B, Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop, Pop, House and movie soundtracks.
He has been longtime producer for French Urban artist UneedStead and is currently working with singer/songwriter and "American Idol" Season eight contestant Ashley Mendez. He is collaborating with music producer and songwriter Stevie L. of Studio 92 Music, and most recently the music director for the bay area's number one Latin Rock Band, La Ventana.
