Bio
Thom Burrell grew up in rural South Florida during the 60's and was influenced musically by his father, an accomplished jazz pianist. After the obligatory round of garage bands, clubs and free concerts, he settled into a pattern of writing songs with his brother, Glen. After Glen's death in 1997, Thom regrouped his musical thrust and began composing and performing his own style of New BlueJazz. Unrestrained by time, his minimalist style runs from standard jazz to new-agical haunts.
Thom currently lives in Minnesota and composes and records his solo efforts at his home studio, while making the rounds of local and regional venues.
