Those Boys Cassidy

Those Boys Cassidy is a six member country rock band based in Vancouver, BC. Featuring multiple song writers, their debut album "Chester" highlights the various lead vocalists and a mixture of influences from country, rock and roll to folk and blues. Songs range from driving rock riffs led by dirty guitar tones as in “Hurricane” to country ballads exploring regret and addiction like “Contracted”. The album is defined by rich harmonies and an overall big sound where each song has its own story to tell.

Formed in 2011, many of the members hail from small town Alberta and have known each other for over a decade, playing in various bands in the tight-knit music community of Central Alberta. Founding vocalist and bass player Boots left the band to pursue his solo project (Ol' Boots) before the album was recorded and was replaced by the talented bassist known as “Blue”. A number of Boots' original songs are included on the debut LP, performed by the current line up.
