Bio
In the spring of 2011, Kyle Fitzgerald and Jolie Cota Flink formed Those Howlings in Avondale, Chicago, IL. Upon discovering they like the same bands (Black Lips, Strange Boys, King Khan, old gospel and country 45s, and South American psychedelia) Kyle and Jolie began writing songs and practicing for hours in Kyle's attic on the northwest side of Chicago.
After playing shows in Chicago for a year, Kyle and Jolie moved the band to Austin, TX where they added drummer Adam Sharp.
Those Howlings self-recorded their album Manifest Blasphemy at their homes in Chicago and later in Austin in 2011-2012. They recorded their 7" But I Paid For You b/w Mixcoatl in Jackowo pt. I at East Side Tone in Austin, TX in 2013.
Those Howlings are currently playing at bars and parties around Austin, TX every chance they get.
