THOUGH I'M TOLD/WEZST/HANGAR/DRAGONFLY RIPPLE
Spearheading this night, Boston's Though I'm Told is a breath of fresh air. Definitely not one of those countless "harder than thou" rock bands, the group has a throwback sound somewhere between power-pop and arena rock, played with just enough sloppy dive-bar attitude. If this were the early '90s, Buzz Bin placement and a slot opening for Cracker would be in the bag. (The Tavern on Main, Sarasota)

Bio
Catchy melodies, impacting lyrics, and a driving pulse all make up Though I’m Told’s distinct flavor of rock. From Vermont to Virginia, each member’s different background contributes a vital part of what makes this band so unique.
Possessing a musical bond since birth, the fraternal songwriting team of Nick and Zach Mclean combined their intriguing lyrics and melody with Michelangelo Quirinale’s roaring guitar solos and Matt Anderson’s flying bass lines. Soon after, the band became known for their raw recordings and exciting, high-energy shows.
Though I’m Told is set to embark on their second national tour, and will be releasing their debut album in late September. Quickly making their presence known on the east coast, the tour in late August will include stops in New York City, Boston, Charleston, Savannah, and Jacksonville.
