Bio

Bologna 2005. Three guys, Massi Giannuzzi (bass, synth), Daniele “Moreno” De Matteis (guitar, vocals) and Rick Hool (drums). They’re part of that wide colony of twenties coming from Lecce and headed towards Bologna for study. Massi and Moreno already had a project called Kulledge, an electronic pop duo somehow inspired by Daft Punk and old school emo. In 2005, Rick arrives in Bologna and gets to know the others through common friends. They soon start to put down some songs from the piles wrote by Moreno, some of them only waiting to be performed by a power trio, and not just in a bedroom. The first demo CD, Joining The Red House, comes out in a few months featuring seven pieces that were going to tour around italian clubs, and be remembered for the minimalism and cool originality of the songwriting. It’s hardly vintage sounding indie rock, with a precise drumming, synths, and emo/punk vocals and guitars.
Their first full length, Here And Back Again, is released by Giovanni Belcastro, the boss from Wynona Records. Eleven songs, some from the demo, but mostly new ones with a true power pop soul. The record is enthusiastically reviewed by italian magazines. The takes for the new record start at the end of 2008
