Bio
Thousand Watt Halo’s guitar laden brand of rock-n-roll is melodic, modern and memorable. The band creates a unique sonic blend of heavy guitar riffs, moving bass lines; and creative back beats, all textured with a hint of post-industrial pop. Add to this Wilson’s intense outpouring of emotion with a vocal style reminiscent of Scott Weiland and Ed Kowalczyk (Live). The result is a contemporary Soundgarden-esque feel, delivered à la Alice In Chains.
But don’t try to categorize this band too quickly. Unlike others in their genre, they do not shy away from the lighter side. From the bluesy feel of “No Reason” to the AC/DC (Bon Scott era) tongue-in-cheek groove of “We Can Roll” this trio will hold your attention for as long as you will let them play.
In a relatively short time Thousand Watt Halo has gone from a seedling ideology in the minds of a few passionate songwriters to a curiosity for all to see. Check out Thousand Watt Halo – It’s good for the soul!
