Bio

The ministry of THREE is a simple yet oddly foreign concept in Christian Music. They will use their gifts to lead people to Jesus. And their gifts are nothing but highly professional and skilled musical talent. Caspar McCloud, front man of THREE was born in the USA but raised in England. He had a good musical career evolving as he was signed to Atlantic records in the 80’s, when God used a good friend of his, Phil Keaggy, to lead Caspar to a life devoted to Jesus Christ. Keaggy has remained friends to this day making guest appearances on THREE’s recordings. Caspar released his first Christian CD in 1990 called “Upon This Rock” on HIS Permanent Records, which in turn spawned his first single to the Christian market “I Need the Lord”. The single was well received and broke the top 10 in the CBA.

A few years ago McCloud started having heart troubles. He was at a worship service at his Church, Pleasant Valley Church of Thomaston, GA, when he dropped to the floor. People gathered around him, his heart had stopped and there was no pulse. They prayed and Caspar was revived. No CPR, prayers to our Lord and Savior raised Him from the dead. Since then Caspar has had a change of focus- Jesus is Healer, Savior and the only focus. This testimony was medically documented as miracle.

To those of us whom are music critics, when we think serious ministry coming from musicians, we assume a compromise on artistry or that the music is weak or mellow. THREE has received praise time after time by media and industry people. They often state McCloud as being one of the greatest guitar players they have heard. Their style is good old rock and roll similar to the sounds of Led Zeppelin, Cream & Jethro Tull. This is full blown hard rock, smacked full of hooks and power.

We can use three words to sum of the ministry of THREE- Artistry, Ministry & Professionalism. If you book THREE expect a ministry concert similar to Mylon LeFevre, early DeGarmo & Key or Resurrection Band. They will rock your brain and then preach with signs and wonders following.
