""Firefly" Review"

Firefly is a tune that has some balls. Reminiscent of Alient Ant Farm's newest material, the recording makes the listener feel like the band is right in front of them. A solid performance and catchy songwriting could easily bring this song regular airplay on the radio. - Zach Schmidlein (Dropface)

Bio

Three Card Monte is a labor of love that started in September of 2003 for four guys from Orange County, NY. Mike Perri and Rich Scarano started the band as a small basement project after realizing that, without even knowing it, they had shared the stage 7 months earlier. Scarano was performing in Monroe, NY in the metal band Against My Own. Perri was close friends with all of the members of the band except Scarano. During their set, Perri was called on stage to assist on a cover of "Eyeless", originally by Slipknot. The two future members of Three Card Monte would not meet again until September of 2003 at SUNY Orange. They sat next to each other in Freshman English 101. Perri and Scarano instantly hit it off and began jamming in Perri's basement, writing originals and covering songs by Queens of the Stone Age and the Deftones. Shortly after writting a few tunes, the duo realized they needed to fill out their line-up. In came Ryan Wonderland, an excellent song writer, and Collin Riley, a fine guitarist and vocalist. The quartet worked hard, refining their act in the halls, bars, and clubs of the Hudson Valley and New York City and are preparing to expand their audience nationwide.
Three Card Monte has opened for acts such as Theory of a Deadman, Hinder, Faktion, Dexter Freebish, Lucky Boys Confusion, Jupiter Sunrise, The Matches, Plain White T's, The Code, Will Hoge, Steel Train, Coretta Scott, Life Before This, Junket, and more....
Three Card Monte has performed at CBGB's, The Chance Theater, The Knitting Factory, Yale Field, The Continental, Townley Hall, Webb Horton Auditorium, SUNY Orange, Deer Park Festival, The Wreckroom, Ace of Clubs, and more...
