"Three Days Prior"

The night before,I went to the Groggy Frog in Southington to check out,
Three Days Prior.
The place was jammed with a strange mix of bikers and suspiciously underage-looking flocks of girls. And although the band was crammed off into the corner, the crowd was seriously into it!
While some of the band's songs you'd expect to hear in the middle of a no where bar; They also had a few curve balls in store;they occasionally riffed on Steely Dan and Clash style themes in a more modern context.

Three Days Prior has also opened up for Chris Barron ,lead Singer of the Spin Doctors. - The Hartford Advocate

"The Three Noble Truths"

Saturday night's bill at Up or On The Rocks was a hot one, as it featured two of the newer bands on Hartford's alt-rock scene: 3 Days Prior and Dharma Brown. I first caught 3 Days Prior in a cramped club in Southington, and I liked them, but Saturday's set was absolutely stellar.

On a proper stage with a good P.A., they were larger than life. Singer and guitarist Aric McNemar not only has great stage charisma and excellent pitch, but he was able to nail solo after engaging solo. The room steadily packed in more and more bodies as they played.

The band's coordination was also seamless: At one point, McNemar's solo came to a screeching halt as the band ceased behind him and he held a gargantuan long note, sounding as though he were taking a running leap off a cliff. Just as the note began to fade, drummer Chuck McGrane came in with an excruciatingly slow hip-hop beat.

Now that's some cinematic funk. - Hartford Advocate

One of Connecticut’s best-kept musical secrets,
the dynamic sound of Three Days Prior’s live show
is one of the band’s major strengths. A regular to
the Fairfield county music scene.

A fresh style that blends rock, pop fusion
alternative routes, blues and a bit of jazz,
Three Days Prior has catchy hooks and infectious
grooves. Which cover a wide-range of distinct
and diverse musical influences such as Steely Dan,
Maroon Five, Maxwell, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John
Scofield, 311, Incubus, and Third Eye Blind.

Formed in the summer of 2004, Three Days
Prior’s lineup includes Aric McNemar (vocals,
guitar), Dennis Gallagher (bass) and Chuck “MC”
McGrane (drums.) The band has been playing
extensively in the southern Connecticut area and
New York City.
