Bio

The crowd was listless, quietly engaged in conversation and the consumption of various exotic libations. Four impossibly handsome figures took the stage, three of them painters, all of them supremely focused on the task at hand. A stir permeated throughout the crowd as the first molten riffs cascaded down from the stage as the band warmed up. The magical dance of rock had begun, and the crowd set sail into a sea of emotions, equal parts awe, pure joy, and reverence. When they entered the club on that unlikely evening, how could they have known what the night would hold? And oh, what a night...oh what a night.

three guys that paint were formed in the heart of Oregon's volcanically active Willamette Valley, better known to some as the "cradle of rock", circa 2005 (common era). The brainchild of Eric Erickson, the band formed at an impromptu jam session at Eugene's Annual Rock Festival, Rowefest. Current members include Eric Erickson (aka The Limit) on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Derek "Walker" Weber on the drums, Zac Wolfe (aka The Asian Persuasion) on the lead guitar, and Bryan "The Compass" Rowe on the bass guitar.

Drawing inspiration from the legends of rock and leprechauns (to a lesser degree), three guys that paint skillfully weave their own unique tapestry of devious melodies, pulsating skins, intoxicating vocals, and searing leads to satisfy an ever growing legion of devoted fans, known as painters. The bands original compositions continue evolve, relentlessly grinding away at the sedimentary build-up of rock cliche, to reveal the diamonds of innovation and lust that lie just below the surface. So ladies and gentleman, grab your pick axes and shovels...let's dig...together.
