The best kept secret in music

"105.3 FM The Fox"

"Three Season Ant are definitely seasoned in writing great hooky songs. Their songs are well thought out and very well recorded. Right from my first intruduction to the band I have been impressed with not only their music but their professionalism as well. Their website is extremely well put together. I predict and long and successful career from Three Season Ant."

"CJYC-FM (C98)"

"I've been following Three Season Ant since their impressive win at the regional finals of Startrack: The Search for Maritime Talent in the late 90's. The group's recent victory of the New Brunswick/PEI leg of The National Songwriting Contest is proof positive that they are honing their songwriting skills and are poised for national exposure. Three Season Ant's latest offering "Two Days After Yesterday" is chock full of great pop/rock hooks and inspirational songs."

"98.1 The Tide"

"I started listening to the three season ant CD and had to keep listening through it's entirety. This band captures such a crisp, enticing sound in their music that no doubt will have everyone up on the dance floor and singing along to their tunes. It's unique, it's fresh and most importantly, it's downright good."

Feeling a bit camera shy

three season ant is based in quispamsis, nb and is made up of chris stephens, anthony moore, chris lozier and kevin doiron. tsa is an acoustic driven rock band that stylistically can be compared to the goo goo dolls, dave matthews and john mayer.

chris stephens and anthony moore formed three season ant in 1998. they immediately jumped into the studio to record their 1st demo at reel north studios in fredericton. although they sold no copies of the demo, it started a buzz about the band and it was not long before people started asking tsa to play places. the band's second place finish in 1999's 'startrack' competition gave tsa the wherewithall to record their first official ep. officially, tsa has recorded and released 2 EPs: the first is titled 'Listen',and the second titled 'Single'.

tsa has been incredibly blessed to get into the regular rotation on radio in the past and that has also continued today. tsa has had the chance to tour extensively within the maritimes, eastern Canada and throughout the eastern United States.

in the fall of 2001, the band received it's first East Coast Music Award Nomination for their project 'Listen'!

in 2003 the band sent several months in seclusion preparing, writing material, and rehearsing for their next project, which is also their first full-length project. the ball was really set in motion when the band got a call from juno-nominated producer justin gray (wave, snow, wide mouth mason, sugar jones). within 6 weeks justin was on a plane headed for the quasi-metropolitan sussex new brunswick. justin spent he better part of three weeks holed up with the guys with some mics and a pro-tools rig. that move is definitely paying off. to date the band has received 4 Covenant Awards and 1 ECMA nomination for '2 days After Yesterday'.

needless to say that experience was just one of many wild and crazy events that have made the many months that have passed since the release of the album a blur. from many whirlwind weekend trips to toronto(and one to buffalo), to contests and concerts the momentum is building and continues to grow. who knows where this crazy train will lead them?
