Local Bands Keep Columbia Readin' and Rockin'

COLUMBIA- Five local bands played Friday night at the Blue Note to collect books for friends of the Columbia Public Library.
Every person who brought a book to donate got one dollar off admission. People began lining up outside the Blue Note at 6:30p.m. for the concert that started at 8:00p.m.
Three Tree Entertainment is hosting the event, and hopes to have an even bigger crowd than the 150 people at their event this past fall, "Keep Columbia Warm and Rockin'."
That event brought in coats, scarves, and gloves for The Wardrobe in Columbia.
Three Tree brought two dump trucks to the Blue Note to prepare for all the donated books.
