Three Wheel Motion

Three Wheel Motion

BandRockAmericana

Three Wheel Motion plays original, song-oriented roots-rock music in a pop format (verse/chorus) with an emphasis on musical & lyrical hooks. Classic rock lead guitar compliments the dynamic arrangements while the jangle of acoustic guitar gives the band it's rustic center.

Biography

What began as a solo acoustic project by singer/songwriter Shane Seals in 2001, quickly expanded into a full rock and roll band as the songs evolved.

Enlisting the help of seasoned local musicians to fill out the sound, Three Wheel Motion quickly established itself as a premier roots-rock band in Central Kentucky by 2002 with their passionate and energetic stage show.

Replacing a bass player in 2004 and adding vintage keyboards and organ to more accurately reproduce the studio sound of their debut CD, 3WM continues to push themselves to create roots-rock music that is entertaining, yet musically challenging.

Lyrics

Move On

Written By: Shane Seals

I'm cleaning house & throwing out
Everything that's holding me down
I've had enough, I'm telling off
Everyone & then I'm leaving town

(Chorus:)
I never even knew my hands were tied
Then I figured out how to speak my mind
I don't know why it took so long
But now it's time to move on

I'll fill my cup & drink it up
Take one down & pass it around
I'm looking up into the sun
While I still can before it goes down

(Chorus:)
Cause I don't want to waste another night
While you just try & over-analyze my life
I don't know why it took so long
But now it's time to move on

Don't tell me I can't live my life
The way I like

I'm cleaning house & thowing out
Everything that held me down
I'm putting on the loudest song
That I can find & roll the windows down

(Chorus:)
Now I've finally opened up my eyes
It's anything, everywhere & all of the time
I don't know why it took so long
But now it's time to move on...

Two Against The World

Written By: Shane Seals

January went slipping by without any snow
It's not the first time, I've been wrong before
You looked like a million bucks & smelled like the cold
You're alive & know it & now it's starting to show

Seasons don't last forever
They'll leave you behind

(Chorus:)
Two against the world
Up against a wall
You go against the grain
With a grain of salt
The world was spinning by
And we got swept up in
But the way it was
It'll never be again

Every now & then I tell myself
That it's all for the best
Take away those sleepless nights
And there's nothing left

But seasons don't last forever
It happens all the time

(Chorus:)
Two against the world
Up against a wall
You go against the grain
With a grain of salt
The world was spinning by
And we got swept up in
But the way it was
It'll never be again

So it's not just the way you thought it was
It's just a moment in time

(chorus out...)

Reason To Believe

Written By: Shane Seals

Oh no, here we go again
With all those questions & no answers
I hope this don't take very long

In time, the days go by & then...
You're older & you can't remember
Just what it was you used to know

Climbing up to the top of the trees
Where we could see everything
You'll be fine just don't look down

Everytime I start to leave
It's hard not to see the irony
The last thing that I need
Is a reason to believe

(Chorus:)
Now I'm tired of always thinking
These days won't last forever
And things aren't always what they seem

All our lives, we've been waiting
For a sign to tell us something
So we can wake up from this dream

Everytime I start to leave
It's hard not to see the irony
The last thing that I need
Is a reason to believe

(Chorus:)
Now I'm tired of always thinking
These days won't last forever
And things aren't always what they seem

All our lives, we've been waiting
For a sign to tell us something
So we can wake up from this dream
