"Roving Reporter"

Friday, the 16th of January, I was back at The Silo for another dose of 7
bands in 6 hours for $10. Yes, $10! I consider it the ‘Value
Meal’ of the Eastern Pennsylvania music world. The weather
this night was a frigid 2 degrees. You had to be a fan to venture
out on a night like this. The offerings were The Fervour,
Seventh Corvus, Hundreth, Threshold of Insanity,
Tomorrow Calls, Haley and Lost Chapter. The Fervour,
from the Philly area, had a very unique sound.

Threshold of Insanity out of Lititz, PA,
are a band which I believe could have succeeded in any era of
music. These guys put forth an all out effort at every show.
Their music, according to the band is arena rock I would have
to agree. I like it! After their set they told me they would be
back at The Silo on February 28th.

Threshold of Insanity is a band of independent musicians. Once started by guitar player, Ben Swaner, TOI (Threshold of Insanity) began their journey as a one man band. Every note, guitar lick, vocal, etc. came from Ben. Through this journey Ben found another young guitar slayer by the name of Jeff Sgro, a fanatic for Van Halen. Ever since the duo met, they were destined for the band known as Threshold of Insanity. The complex drum patterns were to be played by the very man who taught Ben; His dad, Matt Swaner. Finally adding to the mix is the low bass slung by the man known as Matt Sexton. Together, with all four of them, they enter the stage as one.

Threshold of Insanity is packed full of surprises and excitement; their songs ranging from pure emotion to absolute heaviness. An opportunity to be heard is what we are asking for. The music will say the rest. You can find us at:
