The Big Easy HBS Jam 5731 Kirby We are excited to have our International Blues Challenge Regional Winners from Galveston - Thrill Hill & The Real Deal featuring Tony Hill on vocals and George Pappas on guitar & keyboard. This up & coming band blew us away during the IBC Competition. Our panel of judges scored them the best - earning them the #1 spot among the other competitors and the right to perform in Memphis, TN on Beale Street in conjunction with The Blues Foundation IBC World competition. Support live music!

Bio
Within a year of their conception, Galveston based Thrill Hill and The Real Deal blazed through the IBC Houston Regional’s with Texas intensity. Tony Hill fronts the band delivering an introspective, soothing style, and blistering overdrive. His experience dates back well into the 60’s touring the south as a drummer and singer with many southern R&B bands such as: The Soul Masters, The Jazz Crusaders, Love Faith and Power (went on to play with Johnny Guitar Watson), and Chris Long. With years of experience, Ray Plummer on drums and Tracey Nicar on bass provide a solid foundation for the multitalented George Pappas who rounds out this foursome playing double duty on guitar and keyboards.
