Bio

ThrillRazr is not your average, mediocre local garage-band. We are on a mission to capture the hearts and souls of true music lovers far and wide. ThrillRazr is comprised of members, Art Loomer (lead vocals/ Previous vocalist for Connecticut-based band Livin trust), Emmanuel Suyao aka "Mono" ( lead guitar/ vocals), Lonnie dittman (rhythm guitar), Charlie Pratummanee (bass guitar) and Craig Hoffman (drums).

Though new and upcoming, The Thrillrazr project has been a work in progress for about 2 years- spearheaded by founding members Mono and Lonnie- This is their second time combining forces. Prior to ThrillRazr, Mono and Lonnie first met while working at Guitar Center (San Marcos, Ca) and have Shared the stage previously under the banner "Broken Silence".

Mono and Lonnie have been through thick and thin auditioning wide ranges of musicians to produce the sound that expresses their true aspirations. It has been a long haul for the 2 founding members and their dream project. Finally when Mono and Lonnie found Charlie (bass) through mutual friends all was starting to fall in place. Charlie then brought in drummer Tyler Ream, a skilled and talented drummer w/ a great deal of potential. Ream began practicing w/ the band on a weekly basis; at about 2 months of practicing with the band, tragedy struck him and his family. This is taken from a website for his family and friends:

Early Friday morning October 5, 2007, Tyler Ream a SDSU Phi Psi brother, fell from the 3rd story balcony (some 45 feet) to the ground. Ream was immediately given medical aid by the SDSU campus police within 1-2 minutes of falling. He was transferred by ambulance to Scripps Mercy Trauma/ER.

Due to the height from which Ream fell, he broke several vertebrae in his neck and back, cracked his skull, and has some brain swelling .

Ream was in a medically induced coma for about a week due to the severity of his injury but after about a month Ream was able to leave Intensive care and assume residency in rehabillatation and since has made dramatic improvements. He can walk, talk and possibly return back to SDSU to continue school in Spring of '09.

After that shock, the band immediately stopped practicing- But right before Ream's accident, he happened to have finished all his drum-tracks for the 5-song CD- the band stepped it up and decided to focus on recording and promoting the band in the absence of our fallen drummer. The morale was down but the motivation was higher than ever. After Mono finished recording and mastering the CD, Lonnie spearheaded promotion and the band began spreading the word. So after production of the E.P intentions of playing live and the great possibility of touring, the band need to recruit. A young talent by the name of Chase Thomas was chosen to fill-in for Ream while he recovers.

After a plethora of gigs ranging from all over San Diego and significant ascension of talent. Chase made a decision to step off the drum riser and return to his hometown of Walnut Creek, California . Though a sudden and shocking loss for Thrillrazr, composure set in place and within due time once again another talent by the name of Craig Hoffman was recruited.

So now stronger and more determined than ever, the band has made big plans to shock and stir up noise within the San Diego, Los Angeles and National music scene.
