Bio

It began with the passion of one man to share his music. Singer/Guitarist Erko Nomm, originally from Estonia, started playing in mid 90's and has been writing music since 2002. But that soon was not enough.
In 2005 he started developing his originals.
After a  few months , his first song Mortal Man was recorded and produced by Cory Bitner. The  music was well received by many people.
After forming Throttlecaster in 2006, the next goal was to record a full length album. In 2007 he worked with producer/guitarist Cory Bitner and the ten best songs became the debut album called “Restless Journey”. Erko relocated to British Columbia. Back in BC with a new line-up full of talented musicians they are ready to conquer.

Throttlecaster’s album “Restless Journey” is made for people who like heavy, edgy guitars with killer solos and raspy, melodic vocals. The songs are crafted to bring forth pure energy while remaining original. The album includes ballads, tunes that have more of a rock feel, as well as songs with metal influences.
The lyrics of the songs speak about real life issues, inner feelings, struggles, war, things that a lot of people can relate to. Two of the favourites are Mortal Man  and Deep Down. Mortal Man talks about someone who is discovering himself. A lot of people are living their lives without finding out who they really are. They just go and get a job or a career and find themselves unhappy with the outcome. Deep Down talks about someone who battles with severe, depressive thoughts, trying to find a mental balance and hope. Deep down there is a place, not in the physical but mental realm and he has to find his way out.

Throttlecaster has been successfully performing in many shows in Alberta and British Columbia and will be playing near you soon.
