With an interesting blend of live and electronic elements, Throwing Tantrums at Titans have created a demo of catchy, upbeat music that is a mixture of rock, hardcore, electronic, and pop punk. Looking past the recording quality, which is a tad amateurish, there is some real musicianship going on here. The sections with vocal harmonies are clean and tight, and the changing dynamics work well. They shift seamlessly from the louder, more aggressive patches to the still, softer segments. There is this beautiful spot in “Beridden” where they transition out of the rougher, hardcore sound into this soft, piano solo. The screaming on the track does leave something to be desired, but the singing is working here. Their tracks have been crafted with just the right amount of instrumental areas to counter the vocals. With a higher quality recording, I believe this could be the makings of a strong album.

Bio
We go to Berklee College Of Music in Boston, MA. We all like a very broad genre of music, but we also are heavily influenced by a lot of the same bands. Thrice, The Receiving End Of Sirens, Kaddisfly, Seo Taiji, Finch, Jellyfish, Envy On The Coast, and Karnivool just to name a few. We really enjoy writing and playing music, and have an extremely large range of songs. We are doing what we love, what more could we ask for?
