T.H.U.G 4 Christ

T.H.U.G. 4 Christ is a rap group that resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL. It is there were the talented and gifted young men decided to join links and form a bond that would not be easily broken.

The group consist of 5 saved, sanctified and filled with the holy ghost brothers (in the spirit) that take pleasure in giving God their all. The young men; Michael, Robert, Gino, Cook and Bishop, also known as Chuck, were encouraged by the word of God and felt it was their duty to win souls for the Kingdom of Heaven. Their focus was upon the youth of today's generation. The young men and women trapped in a society that was built to fail them. But they also sought to reach the masses; basically anyone they knew was in need of God's unconditional love.

The group currently have a number of songs recorded and have also performed their recordings at local events. They will begin selling their musical compositions in local stores soon.

Before the young men became a group, before they were even saved, they were just "5 lost souls living without a purpose", says group member Bishop. They all thought life was good, but did not realize just how bad things were until they got saved.

Michael was born November 24th, 1989 in Fort Pierce, Fl. He and his family made the move to Fort Lauderdale just a few years later in 1994. Robert entered into the world January 12th, 1990 in West Palm Beach, Fl and has lived in Fort Lauderdale since then. Gino, the only member not originally from Florida, was born in Portaupaix, Haiti on April 20th, 1991. But he did make the jump across the water in the year 2000. Bishop, the eldest member of the group was also born in Fort Pierce, Fl on December 31st, 1981. After moving to Orlando in 1998, he finally made the move down south in 2001.

The 5 of them attend Metro Life Chapel in Lauderhill, Fl were the overseer is Pastor Gary Washington. Along with praising the lord at MLC, Michael is an usher and praise dancer and Bishop plays the keyboard.
