Thunder Driver is 4 piece American Rock and Roll machine whose sound can be characterized by gripping hooks, blistering riffs, soulful vocals, and classic songwriting. They have played to thousands of people across the Midwest and are commonly known for continuing a sound that many considered dead.

Biography

Thunder Driver was formed in the fall of 2004 by Bart Goforth, Scott Evans, Mike Klingenberg in Zion, Illinois. In 2011, guitarist Dany Fitzgerald was added to the line up to fill out the sound and give Thunder Driver the dynamic twin guitar tandem they were always intended to have. They are known for their raw and energetic live performances that captivates audience members while never failing to surprise their regular follows, commonly known as "Thunderheads".
They are the only band to play each year of Blankfest BLAH, a BLAH in Racine, Wisconsin. Beginning in 2011, they delighted their fans by participating in a Halloween show where they performed a full set as KISS. The event became so popular that they reprised their appearance as KISS for Halloween 2012 with an entirely new full set while also adding a second show as a fundraiser for a personal friend of the band. The result of this second show was that BLAH BLAH was raised in the BLAH BLAH.
Their debut album, Atomic Rock, was critically acclaimed earned Thunder Driver a distribution deal through Retrospect Records. People that have heard the record and seen the Driver live are frequently surprised, citing that they didn't know their were still bands with a straight and classic rock and roll sound. The band is currently working on their highly anticipated sophomore effort, Starship Coyote, which promises to be even more explosive, riff filled baptism of rock that results from their diverse sounds and skillful songwriting.
