we've completed 2 cds that we have sold independently and are 2/3 of the way through our 3rd cd. the 1st 2 were live recordings which had covers and originals. our latest effort is all original and by far our best work.

THUNDER MOUNTAIN was formed in 1980 by Rusty Riemer and Kevin Villani and has never stopped performing since. There have been many incarnations of the band due to a host of members that have put their time in within the nearly thirty years of it's existance. In 1999 band founder Rusty Reimer passed away and the torch was passed to Cush Read. Thunder Mountain has performed in just about every club in the Poconos that has ever opened it's doors including a 13yr. Saturday night show at the Legendary Tannersville Inn, as well as performing in Mayfair Music and Arts Festival(Bethlehem Pa.) Musicfest (Allentown Pa.) various clubs in New Jersey and New York. Thunder Mountain has become an icon within the Poconos music scene and is enjoying it's wonderful fan base and new sound from it's current line up. The band covers a wide variety of musical styles from Rock, Blues, Reggae, Motown, Rap, Disco, and even a little Country. We welcome private parties, fundraisers, corporate events, weddings, bike runs, etc. Thunder mountain is currently writing a lot of new original material and is gearing up for some festival work on the east coast in 09.
