Bio
Rising from the ashes of punk rock and spoken word, Thunder Theif formed in Fall of 2003 in Tempe, AZ. Blending grassroots Hip-Hop influences with contemporary lyricism, Thunder Theif create an eclectic yet focused interpretation of her art form. This female emcee was born in Santa Clara, CA and was raised in Tempe, AZ. In high school, she performed in several theatre festivals, and has also performed in a multitude of spoken word and slam poetry events. Both elements of theatre and poetry have leaked into her lyrical style and content. She was the lead singer of a experimental punk/hardcore band The Brook Lynn from 2000-2004. Thunder Thief tries to bring a blend of her varied influences into her writing and showmanship. It's evident with the energy displayed in her live performances. In her short tenure, Thunder theif has performed with the likes of NaS, Killah Priest, DJ Qbert, C-Rayz Walz, Pigeon John, Native Guns, DJ Epik, Ill-Literacy, and Ise Lyfe; just to name a few. She has performed all over Arizona including; Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Chandler.Shes even been to Florida,California,and Texas. Thunder theif is currently working on her Second Album"I Before E"
