Bio

Tiago Iorc would be just another musician in the list of Brazilian artists who sing in English if it were not for one detail: to do this naturally. Tiago has born in Brazil, but he lived in UK and US for some years.

Composer of 8 of 10 tracks from his debut album Let Yourself In, Tiago invites all to experience the delightful gathering of soul, jazz, rock and pop. A new versions of two classics of international music, "Ticket To Ride" (Beatles) and "My Girl" (The Temptations), gives the right dimension of his artistic maturity. For example: a playlist made up of artists such as Jamie Cullun, John Mayer, Colbie Caillat and James Blunt, Tiago Iorc fits perfectly.

"Let Yourself In", the result of careful production of Alexandre Castilho and Victor Pozas, offers the public a young artist who believes in the beauty and strength of melody. With songs that reflect his personality and personal experience, Tiago goes beyond the open space for interpretation. "In my lyrics I like to be subjective and give room for personal interpretation. The feeling that awakens in each song is personal, is unique, and why is so special."

The surprising when you think of a singer and composer of 23 years, who just released his first album is that Tiago Iorc included 4 songs in 4 TV Globo Soap Opera (Tv Globo is #1 TV Channel in Brazil and the Soap Operas are broadcasted from Monday to Saturday for more than 40 million people every night). "Nothing But a Song" tells the story of the main characters from teen soap Malhação and Tiago presented to young people, who recognized it as a representative of what they hear in their "ipods". The result is a song with 2 million viewers on YouTube, faithful fans throughout the country (over three thousand followers only in the Twitter phenomenon). In early 2009, "Nothing But A Song" became the opening theme of the movie "Se Eu Fosse Você 2", already seen by more than 6 million people.
