Bio

TIDAL are;
Adam Payne – Vocals
Adam Vaughan – Guitar
Joe Lewis – Bass
Joe Wilkes - Drums

Four rock music worshipers from the Swansea area of South Wales formed TIDAL in the summer of 2008 with the sole intention of fusing powerful feel-driven & groove laden riffs with a harmonious blend of formidably weighty drum fills and infectious vocal melody lines. The reaction following the release of their debut album ‘What Will Remain…’ in the summer of 2012 hints that they have begun to achieve what they set out to do…

“What Will Remain is quite frankly a stunning debut album. The four guys that have converged and go under the name of Tidal, have managed to produce one of those special debuts that only comes along once in a blue moon. Tidal deserve to be heard, to be seen live and deserve to be huge.”

“Not a single punch is pulled - The sound is massive. That such a sonic monolith has been created by a four-piece is testament to how well this band has honed its sound.”
– Amazon customer review

Each of the band members in TIDAL brings something to the table, with musical influences spanning the decades of the 20th century, be it the hummable melodies of the 60s, the progressive elements of the 70s, the diverse vocal ranges of the 80s or the grinding metallic groove of 90s. Now, they are forging their own pathway through the soundscape of the 21st century. Jam sessions can take one of many different directions stylistically, yet it always sounds like TIDAL.

Having been previously compared to the likes of Sabbath, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Answer, the band are enjoying the solace that both they themselves and their loyal fans have found within their music, and are relentlessly spreading the word through every means possible.
