Bio

Amy, Meg, Nat and Georgie met at drama school at Wollongong University. They bonded over the fact that they were more interested in experimental performance, installation based design, and sound art than they were in traditional plays. Georgie went on to do an MA in Design, Meg got first class honours in Performance Studies and Amy finished her double degree in Media and Communications. Nat is currently doing Performance honours.

In 2009 the collaboration Tiger Two Times was formed with the view of producing entertaining and thoughtful works that transcended the boundaries of traditional art forms. They debuted at Night Time#7 at Carriageworks with 'We don't need any more friends', a bikini contest/performance installation in which they discovered that a) they looked really good in fake tan and that b) cabbage juice was the mouth-ulcer remedy of choice for highly successful people.

Tiger Two Times have since been working on the 'Bake Sale for Art' project, a first hand engagement with the trials of small-scale arts funding and producing. They have popped up with cake stalls at Cricketers Arms markets, vintage markets at Hibernian House, and most recently at the multi-disciplinary arts festival Tiny Stadiums, held in and around Erskineville. Stay tuned for Bake Sale for Art presents 'Monthly Friend', a series of monthly curated art and forum events.
