Bio

Fun. Powerful. Enigmatic. Really quite handsome! And, wow, are they (most of them) ever tall! Tilda formed well over ten years ago in Ottawa as all 4 of these young men pursued the things that suddenly become available several hundred, or thousand, miles away from parental supervision. From the Maritimes, from Southern Ontario, and from the Prairies these intrepid explorers of post-adolescence came together to play music and to party!

Mike, he's the one that sings the most, he's got the charm, the looks and the voice! Once compared to Bob Seger in his youth, Mike has shaken off the chill of that apparent compliment and has risen above it to a more dynamic vocal plane. Not to focus simply upon his manly voice, his guitar playing is always a startling collection of unexpected sounds and approaches.

Andrew, the "other" guitar player, he's brought a bass-player's touch to the lead guitar. You watch him and it looks like the guitar in his hands is simply a toy...which could have a lot to do with the sheer quantity of space that he occupies. A master of the understated melody, he has been compared to Eric Clapton...or, at least his guitar was compared to a Fender Custom shop Eric Clapton signature guitar, which it certainly is not but looks like it is.

Greg, the bassist in the back and the tallest member has two great gifts: extraordinarily long fingers and the voice of an angel. Oh, that voice! Melodic, striving, and so soft! It's an unbelievable combination when he and Mike sing together.

Matthew, he can pound the skins and tin with the best of them! 240BPM power pop, lazy reggae, funk jams from the 70's, he can do it all. And he brings to the table a definite love of Talking Heads and Genesis, which, somehow, rarely shows in his drumming, much to the delight of his band mates.
