Tim studied at the Old Town School of Folk Music under founder Frank Hamilton (http://tinyurl.com/aao4wvs), and he performed regularly at the Gate of Horn (http://tinyurl.com/y9kvn2l). In 1964, Tim released his first album The Lowlanders, with the trio he founded while in high school.
