"TIME EP Review"

The inside cover photo of this disc makes this Windsor band look like they just emerged from a late-70s arena rock time warp. If someone showed me the pic and told me Time were contemporaries of Deep Purple, I wouldn’t question it. Appropriately, this shaggy quartet plays anthemic, bombastic hard rock that would fit comfortably on playlists with Foreigner and Kiss. Modern hipsters might also hear a connection with tongue-in-cheek retro bands like Wolfmother and The Darkness — but I prefer to think of Time as utterly sincere in their tribute to lighter-raising stadium rock. It’s as fun as you’d imagine — go-for-broke vocals, swanky guitars and cowbell fever percussion. In fact, there’s nary a gloomy moment to be found in these four songs. Listen to the good-time riffs on the third track, The Pressure, or the swanky sax solo on the track Candy From a Feather. Sure, you sometimes have to wonder how serious they are — Sample lyric: “I’m knocking at your backdoor, a renegade loverboy.” But it still sounds like a totally bitchin’ party. Bio

TIME practices the art of music and performance in all aspects of the words with influences from four different individuals with one common goal. Our vision is to bring back the roots of rock and a feeling of musical movement towards our audiences. Time believes it can be even eaiser to make it on a good concept and good albums. You remember, the albums that you could listen to all the way through. We realize that the music does not have to be sacrificed for the gain and we choose to win audiences with something real and passionately delectable.
With inspiration ranging from Queen to Kiss to Led Zeppelin, Motley Crue, Yes, Rush, Rage Against the Machine, and Pink Floyd, the members of the band are very aware of rock's impact and history in crowd pleasing. With an "in-the-now" attitude, we prove to be different from throw back "classic rock" bands and focus on what music pours out of us in the present, a subtle influence taken from bands like Wolfmother, The Darkness, The White Stripes, Priestess and Pride Tiger.
After lead singer Tyrone Buccione met with guitarist Ryan Watson in a University residence a few years ago, they hit it off after one blues jam and decided to make this a life career. Recruting Patrick Bon Clayton from Blenhiem, Ontario and Taso Pavlou from Ottawa, we are going strong and getting a lot stronger, especially in the Southern Ontario area.
Based in Windsor, the band stands tough and bold. Come check us out!

After years of development, TIME is seeking funding to record its full-length album. TIME has sold over 2,000 copies of their debut EP “TIME EP”. TIME has played over 100+ across Canada with the likes of Theory Of A Deadman, The Trews, Priestess, Collective Soul, David Wilcox and Helix. TIME has perfected its live performance in front of thousands of people, and now wishes to capture that melodic and energetic performance that has pleased them all. TIME has written 40+ songs and tested them out on many different demographics to see which 10 best would suit the album. TIME’s debut album “Journey of 1000 Years” will concentrate the best of TIME into a 10-song, 50-minute hard rock opus. The tone of the album will capture the spirit of “1970’s guitar fueled rock” with a modern touch un-scene in today’s music. TIME will support this record with a national tour as well as high-profile festival appearances. The band members of TIME will be moving from Windsor to Toronto to concentrate on their music careers and will use this record to both fund their efforts as well as use it as a calling card for music industry professionals.

TIME has several strategic goals that the band wishes to achieve with its full-length recording effort. The primary goal is to seek licensing and distribution opportunities to assist in supporting bringing TIME’s music to the masses. This full-length record will also be used as a vehicle to seek out radio tracking, publicity, and other song placements. It is TIME’s goal that the full record will be utilized as a powerful revenue tool at live shows, and act as a prime example of TIME’s musical abilities to the music industry at large. TIME will also aggressively market the singles in partnership with a yet to be determined radio tracking partner. TIME has had major success on Southern Ontario radio for an independent act. Two of the four cuts off of the TIME EP went into medium and heavy rotation receiving 20+ plays per week on The Rock 100.7. The station has requested more material from the band; 89X has also been a huge supporter of the band. Furthermore, the full album will be utilized to seek out other funding and performance opportunities that would not be available to the band otherwise.
