Time Brings Age

Hello we are Time Brings Age, we are a 2 piece band from Brighton UK. We write concept based alternative music. Originator of the band Alex Ives began writing music in 2007 following the split of his old band. For the next two years Alex spent his time creating a concept and story to provide content for his next project. Fascinated by the idea of creating a whole new world in which anything could happen and using this as inspiration for the music Alex was determined to find the right members for the new band and people who shared his ambition of creating something interesting and challenging both to make and to listen to.
In 2008 Alex began auditioning members for his band and following over a year of struggling to find the ideal members Rupert and Renee joined the band. They finished writing and recording their Debut EP and released it on Chichester/Brighton based label Dog Knights Productions. Shortly before the release date Renee left the band and Rupert and Alex decided to continue as a two piece.
The EP has sold well so far and had positive response from blogs, we are now preparing for the release of a limited edition cassette with B side remixes from Greg ROM, Alima & Dan W
We have gigged throughout Brighton most notably supporting ‘The Strange Death of Liberal England’ (Republic Of Music/Fantastic Plastic).
