At the age of 33 Tim has quite literally toured, recorded and taken his music to tens of thousands around the world since he took to the road at the age of 15.

His tune "Little bird" which he wrote for Irish star Sharon Shannon is played regularly around the globe on national radio stations including RTE (Ireland), BBC, ABC (Australia).

Tim is special guest on the latest Canadian supergroup The Barra MacNeills album "The Celtic colours sessions"

From playing and singing with the Grammy winning supergroup The Chieftains on the 2012 "Voice of ages" European tour to winning two internationally recognised awards "Best Musician" and "Best duo" with Kiwi harmonica guru Brendan Power at the BBC RADIO TWO FOLK AWARDS 2012, recording on the latest Christy Moore album.
Tim has toured extensively in Europe, Australia, USA, Canada both solo, and touring and recording with all the premier league names of celtic music; Edey/Power, The Bara MacNeills, Altan, Cara Dillon, JP Cormier, Lunasa, Sharon Shannon, Julie Fowlis, Capercaillie, Michael McGoldrick, Wolfstone, Session A9, Eddi Reader etc

For Tim Edey Collective gigs Tim is joined by;

Isobel Crowe a young stunning vocalist from the lovely Perthshire area of Scotland. Singing in both her native Scots, Gaelic and English she has a gorgeous voice and will seduce the audience with her stage performance.

On guitar is seasoned English acoustic maestro Pete Gazey whom can play everything from bluegrass to jazz but adds his unique style fusing gypsy jazz and folk to the band. Pete is high in demand in London and England as a session man.
