"Once again the Barley Room is throwing a one-of-a kind Hallowe'en bash with their favorite band...TimeLine.
Every year patrons swarm to the Barley Room on Hallowe'en night. They come dressed up...and they come for the live music provided by Quinte area classic rockers TimeLine, who always get dressed up for the occasion too."

Bio

TimeLine's band members come from very diverse musical backgrounds, which includes blues, latin jazz, rock and big band swing, all of which has an influence on their live performances. With adaptations of songs such as Carol King’s It’s Too Late, the up-tempo rhythms of Santana’s Black Magic Woman and the powerfully smooth compositions of Fleetwood Mac, you can dance or just sit back and listen to the characteristic music that came out of the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, together with some of today’s contemporary classics.

Lorri is a powerful singer with a bluesy vocal style. She transitions easily between evocative rock standards and contemporary jazz/blues ballads with a cool energy. With a wide range of musical experience, she is just as classy performing with single instrument accompaniment in a small club as she is fronting a full band performance in a stadium.

John’s versatility on both acoustic and electric guitar allows TimeLine a wide range of musical styles. John began playing professionally at age 16 going on to perform with various Ontario bands such as The Evolutions, JET, and Blue Jay. His voice adds a gritty edge to the band and is a strong counter-point to Lorri’s powerful vocal technique.

As well as providing vocal harmony, Frank lays down a mean bass line with his jazz/rock-influenced bass playing style. Driving TimeLine’s rhythmic groove, Frank spent 10 years on the road in the U.K. with a number of blues/rock bands based in London, opening for Canned Heat, Argent, The Groundhogs, Barclay James Harvest and various other main stage groups touring Britain at that time.

Providing one half of the rhythm section that drives TimeLine, Jim has been playing drums since he was eight years old. After spending time as a drumming instructor at Trinity College School in Port Hope, he toured the A-circuit in the United States and Canada for six years with a country rock band travelling from Tampa to Whitehorse, end everywhere in between. When he is not on stage, Jim continues to teach percussion technique and methodology to private students.
