Biography

Tim Flood's songs are infused with a bit of laid-back soul and carefree optimism. His guitar style incorporates strong rhythmic grooves enhanced with subtle, yet distinct melodic and harmonic motifs. Poignant lyrics invite thoughtful listeners to bring themselves into the song. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Tim is proficient on a variety of instruments and in diverse genres of music such as folk, rock, funk, jazz and reggae. He cites influences from far and wide: John Doe of X, Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Jerry Garcia, Bob Dylan, Beck and Bob Marley, among many others.
